How to find your phone EID and IMEI for eSIM

What is an EID and an IMEI?

An EID is a serial number attached to a device that uses an eSIM, that is unique to each device.

An IMEI stands for International Mobile Equipment Identity, the same as an EID, it is also unique to each device IMEI. Every mobile phone has a unique 15-digit IMEI number. This number allows you to can check some information about the device, eg brand or model. 

How to find my EID?

The EID & IMEI is usually found within the settings of your phone on the same page. Below is a step-to-step guide on how to find it.

Android

Go to the Home screen. To open the menu, swipe up on the screen.

  1. Scroll to and choose Settings.
  2. Scroll down and choose About phone.
  3. Choose Status information.
  4. You will see a section where it has IMEI and EID, where both numbers will be displayed.
iPhone
  1. Go to the Home screen and choose Settings.
  2. Scroll down to General.
  3. Choose About.
  4. Scroll down. You will see a section where it has IMEI and EID, where both numbers will be displayed.
A quicker way to find your EID & IMEI is to dial *#06#, this will display a screen with your device information.
Google
  1. On the menu, scroll down. Choose Settings.
  2. Scroll down. Choose About phone.
  3. Scroll to IMEI, it will be displayed here.
  4. Then scroll back and choose SIM status.
  5. Scroll down. Under EID, the EID is displayed.
