SIM Activation

We have two types of SIMs, depending on which SIM you purchase it will either be an activation date required SIM or a Plug and Play SIM.
Activation date required SIMs
Activation SIMs are SIMs that require a date for us to manually activate the SIM on our end, once you receive your SIM the instructions will be on the packaging. We will use that date to activate your SIM. If your trip changes or gets cancelled please inform us immediately before the activation date so we can remove or change the date, as once activated on our end the SIM will expire whether you inserted the SIM in your phone or not.
Plug and Play SIMs
Plug and play SIM do not require activation dates, the activation of the SIM is entirely up to you. Depending on which SIM, there may be different types of activation methods, either turning data roaming on, calling or texting a number and following the prompts to set up activation.
Each SIM has a SIM guide to help you with the activation just ensure you download the correct SIM guide and follow it.
Activation Portal
Whether you have a SIM that requires an activation date or a plug-and-play SIM, we ask that you add your SIM to the portal so we can keep a record of the SIM number and when you will be using the SIM. Entering details in the portal is simple, just follow the guide on our packaging. 😊
